If you have a little larger business you may want to consider upgrading to 3DCart's $99.99 a month package. Both are very comprehensive and will offer almost anything you could look for in a shopping cart. The biggest difference is the amount of disk space, bandwidth, and you may carry unlimited products versus 100 or 500.

I`m giving 3d Cart 3 stars, BUT, I don`t think that any shopping cart software out there deserves any more than 3 stars. None of them are great in all respects. They all fall short somewhere or another.
Either the price is stupidly high or the customization is nearly impossible or you can`t use paypal pro, or even if you have a merchant account people are taken off-site to pay.... or or or.
I`m actually surprised by all the customer service complaints people have with 3D Cart. I am actually sticking with them because they`re the only shopping cart company that I was able to call or chat with to get help. People actually answer the phone 24 hours every day AND they have 24 hour chat.
Ya, you have to wait sometimes and occassionaly chat is backed up, but it sure beats waiting 24 hours or more for a response.
I don`t know much about their shipping options because I only have a downloadable product. I do find it irritating that I couldn`t get rid of the delivery address field (or whatever it`s called). The title is still there, but at least I could change the text below it saying that it doesn`t need to be filled out for ebook orders.

3dcart has a lot of features, but does fall short on shipping and especially international. Like the others mentioned, also hope you never need help, because customer service is extremely poor.

3D cart itself is very useful. The new version 3.2 is great, they`ve added many features to an already great amount of customizable options. However, because it has a lot of new features, you will probably have a lot of questions about how to use them all; this is where 3D cart falls way way short.
The Fed Ex and UPS shipping calculations are inaccurate because 3Dcart has not yet upgraded from the old API to Web Services on FedEx and whatever the latest UPS software is. For my business this is a big problem. It took me 2 weeks of emails to finally get a straight answer from the tech department, and even then it was the wrong one.
I`ve been on the phone numerous times with the sales and tech departments and they seem to get offended when I question why a feature or option doesn`t work the way it`s advertised. The support documents are hit and miss as well. So if you`re pretty tech savvy 3D cart is head and shoulders above the competition, just pray that you don`t ever need any help, ever.

Awesome software, Awesome support.
Recently switched from Volusion and its like night and day. No longer waiting on hold for hours, great features, friendly support.
Clearly the other 2 1 star reviews were posted by a competitor.

We are very happy with 3DCart. Their customer and tech support is stellar. We switched to 3DCart after being so frustrated with our former shopping cart provider`s lack of customer support and feature function. The options and features in 3DCart work very well. The shopping cart itself is very search engine friendly. We are here to stay!!

My experience with support was exactly the same as the other posting. Response times are miserable and when you are running a business and need asap help, this isn`t the company to lean on.

The software is very simple to use, but there is no such thing as customer service with 3dcart. The tech team seem to not want to help so if you are having a problem with the software then you can forget it - you are on your own.
