This is definitely one of, if not the best shopping cart available. With a little bit of html/css knowledge the templates are easily updated to customize your site. I am not php fluent but if like me you are able to make changes to the php code then it is even more customizable for you. Highly recommended for anyone looking to start up an online store. There is a community forum for support as well which is pretty good for basic issues and customization help. One thing I will say about the post before mine, the forum is not a support request location. It says so right on the forum. It is a community forum for the sunshop community to help each other. Support should be done by ticket or phone requests and I have NEVER had any response problems. Keep up the good work TWT.

    I think the product itself is very good. The problems we`re having implementing SunShop is that 1) the documentation is pretty close to nonexistent once you try to do anything, and 2) getting responses for non-technical questions is impossible. The good news is that if you have a technical question and submit a support question, you get good response. This company appears to be very engineering driven, and the code looks well done. However, nobody answers simple questions and there`s no documentation; for example, they offer both coupons and discounts. I asked for an explanation of the difference, and have never gotten one from either support or from the forums. 80 people have looked at the question in the forum, but nobody can answer it...and that`s an extremely basic concept question. The really bad news for us relates to the fact that we paid SunShop (TWT) $300 to create a custom theme for our cart to match our web; once they collected the money, all communication about this pretty much stopped. I kept emailing and asking questions, but no response. They finally contacted me and said it was ready a week ago, but I still don`t have my theme. Today I called to find out how to proceed,given that we`re waiting for the customized theme to deploy our store. The sales department phone person was rude beyond measure, said the only thing I could do was again update my ticket, which i`ve already done 4 times since hearing our theme was ready. If we hadn`t already invested so much technical time and money into customizing SunShop into our web, we`d be looking for a different cart provider, based on their lack of professionalism with regard to communications. Sad but true.

    I`ve been using Sunshop on client sites for about four years and have to say that it`s my favorite in terms of functionality, number of options, search engine optmization and user friendliness. Sunshop 4 is extremely easy to design for (I`m a web designer) due to the fact that the templates can be edited locally and uploaded, or edited within the control panel. I can`t speak for anyone else, but it`s very rare that I can`t get hold of Turnkey when I need them. They`ve been extremely helpful.
